For Kendriya Vidyalaya admission, there won’t be any admission test for
to class II to VIII. A lottery system
will be followed for priority category including a single girl child quota
(class VI onwards) in case the applications received are more than the number
of seats. For rest of the candidates for class XI, there is an entrance test. Later, a merit list will be prepared for each
category of priority separately. Further, the admission will be
granted in the sequence of priority categories in the order of merit.
About the Admission test
1. The entrance test will contain topics related to all subjects such
as Hindi, English, Maths, Social science and science.
2. The test will be of 3 hours’ duration only.
3. The maximum marks will be 100 comprising Hindi, English, Maths,
Social science & science each of 20 marks.
4. It is mandatory for a candidate to score a minimum of 33% marks in
aggregate to qualify. Besides, those who belong to SC/ST/Divyang category (PH)
will be eligible for admission on securing 25% in aggregate.
